Website visitors

When you visit our website, our web servers temporarily store the connection data of the requesting computer, the pages accessed, the date and duration of the visit, the recognition data of the browser and operating system type used and the website from which you are visiting us by default. The temporary storage of this data is based on legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO.

2. Use of Social Media Share Buttons for Facebook, Twitter and XING

news aktuell takes all necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. For example, all data you enter via the website is transmitted in encrypted formats. All personal data, including contact details, invoice data and other information about our customers, interested parties and partners are stored exclusively within our own IT infrastructure at our main office in Hamburg in a secure operating environment that is not accessible from the outside.

In addition to this website, news aktuell also operates profiles and pages in various social networks and platforms to provide information about our company and our offers and activities and to communicate with customers, interested parties and users. The respective operators of the platforms share your personal data within their corporate groups as well as with other third parties. For users outside the USA and Canada, Facebook is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta Platforms"). news aktuell and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are jointly liable for the processing of user data for news aktuell's own Facebook pages. Personal data is only processed by news aktuell when you as a user interact with our Facebook pages, e.g. send a message, write a comment or click the "Like" button. The data processing is carried out on the legal basis of your consent according to Art. 6 (1) a) or - if you send us a product or price enquiry, for example - the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) b). You can revoke the granted consent in individual cases at any time by deleting the content or deactivating the respective Like button and/or the Like button of the fan page. Statistical data / Facebook Insights

news aktuell uses statistical data that is made available to us as the site operator in anonymised form ("Facebook Insights"). news aktuell has no influence on the generation and display of this data and can neither disable this function nor prevent the collection and processing of data. news aktuell can use this statistical data to optimise the posts and activities on the Facebook page for users. For example, we use preferred visiting times for the timing of our posts. For the joint processing of this data, we have concluded an order processing agreement with Meta Platforms, which can be accessed here. In this agreement, Meta Platforms undertakes, among other things, to assume primary responsibility under the GDPR for the processing of Page Insights Data and to comply with all obligations under the GDPR with regard to the processing of Page Insights Data.

TikTok

TikTok is operated for users in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom under the joint responsibility of TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland and TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, 4 Lindsey Street, Barbican, London, EC1A 9HP, United Kingdom (together "TikTok"). New Work SE provides us with non-personal information and analyses about the use of our account or interactions with our posts. This information enables us to analyse and optimise the effectiveness of our XING activities. The processing that takes place in this respect is based on our legitimate interests in optimising our XING activities (Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO).

YouTube

YouTube is a service provided to users from the European Economic Area and Switzerland by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Please note that your Google account may be used for various Google services (e.g. Gmail, Google Search) and YouTube or Google may combine personal data about the Google services you use according to your Google account settings. 5. PR Image Award

news aktuell organises the PR Picture Award. If you wish to submit images yourself for the PR Image Award, we will direct you to the Alpha Awards web application. In order to submit a picture, you must register there personally. In doing so, we process personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations (DSGVO). We will only process data if we have a valid legal basis for doing so (consent). We use the personal data provided by you (name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, IP address) and the other information provided exclusively in connection with the implementation of the PR Image Award, for example to send you information about the PR Image Award. Voting for the PR Image Award is also organised via the Alpha Awards platform. To ensure that voters do not vote several times a day, the IP address is collected and stored for a maximum of 24 hours. No other data processing takes place in connection with voting.
